How to Become a Therapist in Tennessee
When people find out that I am a therapist, two questions that I'm usually asked are: What are the requirements to become a therapist? And, how long does it take to become a therapist? Sometimes these conversations are with people that I meet at training events and other times I've had discussions with college students. Some students are just starting their collegiate journey and others are in graduate school looking for an internship and exploring career options. So to answer these common questions, I will share the necessary steps that it takes to become a therapist in TN.
